Recognizing a lack of high-quality car washes in his hometown, Dan Eisenhauer approached Moo Moo Express Car Wash Founder John Roush in 2014 about expanding Moo Moo to the Dayton, Ohio market. With branding being such an important aspect of a car wash’s success, the two quickly decided it was a natural fit to draw on the region’s rich aviation history, and instead of a barn— an airplane hangar theme was conceptualized!
Flying Ace Express opened its first location in Washington Township, utilizing the proven state-of-the-art process, equipment, electronics, chemistry and car wash model that had propelled Central Ohio’s Moo Moo Express brand. Word of Flying Ace’s environmentally conscious practices and sustainable equipment, coupled with award winning customer service spread quickly, and the Company opened two additional locations by 2017.
In 2018, Flying Ace Express entered into a strategic partnership with Wildcat Capital Management, the family office of TPG Capital co-founder David Bonderman. Attracted to our recognized expertise in customer service, operations, site design and construction, Wildcat is helping fuel the Company’s overall growth and responsible expansion. In 2019, Flying Ace Express opened 4 new washes in Greater Dayton, and expanded into Greater Cincinnati with its first location in Hamilton, Ohio.
Today, Flying Ace Express Car Wash operates under the parent company of Express Wash Concepts, which includes Central Ohio-based Moo Moo Express Car Wash, Greater Cleveland, Toledo and Pittsburgh-based Clean Express Auto Wash, Virginia and North Carolina-based Green Clean Express Auto Wash and east Central Ohio-based Bee Clean Express Car Wash.
